Dog Mom: Meet My Furry Child

Happy National Dog Mom Day!

May 8th is National Dog Mom Day. So, to honor this day I decided to show you all my furry child. He really is my kid. Well, he's not really mine. He actually my roommate's dog, but I love him as my own. He loves me as well. I can tell because he's always by my side. He follows me around the house. He sleeps with me most of the time. So, I think it's safe to call him mine.

Here's a picture of him:

Isn't he adorable? He is a Pitbull and the biggest mush ever. He's scared of everything and always comes to me to defend him. Mostly from inanimate objects. It's the funniest thing. He's actually fine with other dogs. He's really just scared of things that don't move. Makes no sense to me but that's my baby. His name is Dream because he truly is a dream.

These pictures are actually from a photoshoot I was doing. The pictures were supposed to be of me but he wanted to be in the pictures too. How can I say no to that face?

He is my unofficial emotional support dog. Whenever I feel down or even tired, he is always there to cheer me up and give me love. It's incredible how dogs can feel your emotions. Even more incredible that they actually do something about it. Although, he sometimes misjudges things and thinks I need love when I'm really just stretching.

I, 100% believe in the work therapy dog do. I remember when I had my spinal fusion surgery, they had a therapy dog working at the hospital and they brought him over to me. It was heartwarming. Even though I was in much much pain, it was nice to play and pet a cute little dog. Therapy dogs are underrated. The same goes for emotional support dogs. They are so important.

It's nice to have someone so excited to see you when you get home from work or wherever. My baby makes me feel loved. Maybe too much, at times. However, he is appreciated and loved back. Maybe too much, at times. I think I spoil him with too much love. Is there such thing as too much love? I actually want to know what you think about this. IS there such things as spoiling your pet with too much love? Let me know in the comments!

I consider myself a dog mom, even though he is really my roommate's dog. I love him so dearly. He makes me happy. Do you have a dog at home? What kind of dog? Tell me about them in the comments. I'd love to hear about your doggy stories!

Here he is again. My annoying little baby boy. He's 2 years old.

We love to play fetch with his toys. And I can't wait for summer to hang out and have fun in the sand. We'll see how he reacts to the sand and water around him. Hopefully, he likes it so that we can stay out there instead of being indoors all the time.

He must think he is smaller than he is. He has this habit of laying his face on my face and adding all his weight to it. He either hates me and wants to suffocate me or he is just showing me he loves me. I think it's the latter. Well, actually I read online somewhere that dogs actually do that and show you they love and care for you that way. So, I find it cute. Most of the time at least.

I will post a video meeting him on Youtube. That way you can see him in action and see how playfully he is. When I do, I'll post the link here!

Hope you enjoyed reading about my furry, annoying, but an adorable child!

Leave me a comment about your dog. I'd love to hear your stories!
